BIOGRAPHY

Romane Orlando Robb was born on January 27, 1988 in St. Andrew, Jamaica to Wesley Franklin Robb (died when Romane was two years old) and Ena May White-Wright. Romane spent the early years (up to age six) of his childhood in Kingston, Jamaica and a brief period (1-2 years) in Queens, New York with his mother before going back to Port Antonio, Portland to live with his Aunt.

At the age of 16, Romane went back to Queens, New York to live with his mother, and it was there he started his entrepreneurial journey. While attending Newtown High School in Elmhurst, Queens, he would create various niche websites/blogs in his spare time. Topics ranged from technology, finance, sports, etc. A few years later he founded a clothing company (“Hustling Magician” which is now known as Hu$tlerZ, a jean co. owned by The Urban Blvd.) Romane also founded other fashion brands under The Urban Blvd umbrella. Brands such as; RSG – Robb Sports Group, a sportswear brand; KGCC, an eyewear brand; Sweet Grapes, a female accessories brand; Offensive, a niche apparel brand, and others.

During this time, Romane was also heavily involved in the stock market. While reading books like “Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist,” “Liar’s Poker,” and other financial/business books, he founded SI Holdings (SIMPLEROBB, INC. Holdings) to manage the excess cash lying in SIMPLEROBB, INC bank account. “I remember Warren Buffett saying the worst kind of investment is cash, which is obviously true. I could either have the excess cash sit in the bank account and earn a 0% return, or put the cash to work. The choice was obvious.” – Romane Orlando Robb.

Romane considers himself a serial entrepreneur, who isn’t afraid to fail. While managing The Urban Blvd and SI Holdings, he founded various other entities, most notably; Robb Xpress, a courier and printing company. Even though he has publicly stated his dislike for school, more specifically - classrooms, Romane attended BMCC (The Borough of Manhattan Community College) and Baruch College.
